Answers to what people ask.
Is the loan paid to me or the landlord?
By default, the loan is disbursed to the landlord's bank account against the signed rent agreement. This gives landlords confidence and removes disputes.
What if the landlord refuses direct payment?
The loan can also be disbursed to your account. A small verification call to the landlord is still done to confirm the tenancy.
Does it help if I have a co-applicant?
Yes. A working spouse, parent or sibling as co-applicant can raise the sanctioned amount and lower the rate.
Can students take this loan?
Yes, with a working co-applicant (parent or guardian). We need their PAN, income proof and consent.
Can I foreclose after the deposit is returned?
Absolutely. Once the deposit refund lands in your account, you can prepay any time after the first EMI.
